No winter to speak of yet. No real cold, no snow. Might as well be summer. I miss summer.

Frosty Run

Nothing like a chilly late autumn morning to go for a run in my Vibram Five Finger shoes! As long as you keep running your feet don't get cold and the ground makes that lovely crunchy sound as you run along the forest paths.

Wow..

It's been such a long time since I did anything to this blog that I have almost forgotten how. To be honest I haven't even looked at it for months. Time flies and before I knew it our long winter was over and summer arrived bringing (as always) very mixed weather... It's also a busy time of year especially now that so much "kit" for our Land Rover has finally arrived just waiting to be bolted on and used.
I don't really know what photos to select or post so here are few random pics from summer so far!

Well that's it for now. I will try to take more photos and post some of the Land Rover Defender and my progress on turning it into an overlanding machine! That will have to be another day though.

Hitting the slopes

When I first tried skiing I used to get both annoyed (jealous) and amazed by the little kids flying down the big slope without even using skipoles. This year Lorienne, Henrik and I took lessons in downhill skiing and I'm proud to say that Henrik is now one of those little kids!
After having gone down the slope a few times together with Henrik I told him I wouldn't wait for him this time and that I was going go faster than before. He was ok with that, but after about half the slope I decided to stop and check on him anyway only to hear his voice right behind me saying: "Why are you slowing down Dad???"

Christmas and New Year
